Laquana Brumfield is a Mississippi-bred army officer and bestselling author. She is a natural born storyteller who has penned over two dozen stories that highlight black love centered on men and women in uniform. Her fiction stretches across multiple genres such as African American romance, women’s fiction, and military romance. Her stories are where broken hearts and healthy love collide.
Laquana found her love for writing at a young age, starting with poetry. She furthered this love by penning short plays for her high school drama class. Laquana graduated from Jackson State University with a MA in English and commissioned as an Army officer in the same year.
Laquana debuted in 2016 with her Secrets of the Game series and has been dedicated to storytelling since. When she’s not wearing her uniform (and sometimes when she is) she’s creating military love stories and obsessing over the men in them. Laquana created the CEO to Author mentorship to help business owners turn their expertise into a bestselling book.
